Got my new tints...

:D

Em-Cool tints, made in the USA, properly installed using a marker and heatgun ;) Don't know if you will all get what I mean. Rear window is now a one-piece tint, not two.

It's 80% heat resistant, charcoal grey.

3 years warranty :o Those guys are really good, and the car looks great and feels great, those tints really work, with the scorching heat I need them to!

I hope I will get some pics posted up tonight.

I don't know anything about tints, because we can only have the merest hint of a tint on front and front side windows for safety reasons. 80% heat deflection must make a heck of a difference though. I guess you are typing from a laptop in the car and putting your sunshade up for sale on eBay?

No no...I'm in my office, and I din't have a sunshade...I had poor quality tints that lasted only about 7 months, and then I found this place, Em-Cool, that offered 3 years warranty for these american tints which are costly. Not only that, they have these clear (transparent) films that are super heat deflective that cost about GBP155 for a small car like mine!!! :o Here, that's a lot of money for tints, because you can get them done for extremely cheap at like GBP15, but they last only 6 -7 months.

Sounds like a good investment

I believe the US have put a huge amount of research into glass treatments which deflect heat whilst maintaining highest possible light-throughput, especially for housing in their particularly hot states.

I guess this is a spin-off from that, so it is probably about as hi-tech as you can get and with a 3-year warranty, what have you got to lose? Well, apart from the heat of course ...
