Hello I have a 2010 - 59 plate Octavia estate and I am new to the site only had my Octavia since May....I have recently purchased VCDS software & dongle from ROSS-TECH as was recommended on this forum.......now I purchased it as my understanding from a work colleague that with this software you can alter settings for the vehicle.....now I have not go the maxidot display and so cant amend setting via that route, I want to alter the central locking as a start I have this one click feature that opens the drivers door only and I have to press twice for the rest of the doors to open......not something I like.....now the software works fine and picks up the engine, auto transmission but where so I go to alter any settings I go the logical choice such as central locking and I get controller not found......possibly me missing the obvious here but this is quite important for the functioning of my car and I don't want to get it wrong as it could be costly.

I wonder can anyone help or advise me here...

did you go through the "Installed" tab menu?  I know there are a lot of modules in the other menus that don't work
