2011 Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I am just weeks away from taking delivery of a new Octavia VRS and so the Fabia has to go. I have an agreed trade in value with my dealer which whilst not the best, the overall deal I am getting does not seem to bad (car is discounted but then the trade in is not the best). So I thought why not offer the Fabia to the membership at Briskoda at the trade in price?

So to the car;

It is race blue with a white roof and alloys.

First registered on the 2nd March 2011

Taxed till end of February 2014

Mileage at time of writing is 46,850 (it will be increasing as this is my daily driver)

New engine installed at 27,000 and apart from the two oil changes since replacement has consumed just 2 litres of oil (1 litre during each service interval)

It has a full service history with the last service being conducted yesterday

It is sat on a set of Eibach springs as fitted by my local dealer at 27,000 miles (original springs will be supplied)

Pioneer head unit installed with Bluetooth (the original Swing radio will be included)

Price £ 8000.00

There is no outstanding finance but happy for anyone to check. Don't know if it will make any difference but the registration number is new as I have now but my cherished number on retention.

If interested, just PM me if you require more details.

Thanks JT

I've seen this car and its good, considering when I traded mine in (2010, 50,000 miles) for £8500, my garage proceeded to sell it for £10500, I would suggest to anyone that this is an absolute BARGIN!

would be nice to see it to a good home ;)

Why a new engine?

Hi Big Tam, have you never ventured into the Fabia II forum? I wouldn't if i was you, but if you do take a look at some of the oil threads.

In my case, after 27,000 miles a valve burnt out. However, when the car had been subject to an oil consumption test it was deemed to be consuming 482 mls per 600 miles which was just inside tolerance apparently, and i had gone through more than 12 litres of oil between servicing, Skoda just went ahead and replaced the engine.

Anyway, I will now lock this thread as the VRS was P/exed this morning for a dirty diesel Octy VRS :)
