Forget the Ewok. THIS is what the wives will be driving soon

I like that.

I seem to say that about a lot of new crossovers though.

I like it too.  The Porsche Cayenne was such a monstrosity when it came out... a 4x4 from a sportscar maker... but look at the sales of that now!  Therefore this is not too much a stretch of reality.  That it looks great helps of course.  Maybe a bit too much like the F-type from the rear for my liking but nothing (too) wrong in that.

I think those alloys are a tadge too small for the vehicle. Who provides the wheels for Massey-Ferguson? :giggle:

Its the love child of a Cayenne and an Evoque.

Que?

That will sell very well.

Rather nice!

Ewok?

Ewok?

Small furry things, like to use Stormtrooper helmets as bongo drums.

HTH.

Maybe it's that blue reminding me of a Mazda.

I agree it will sell well, think I prefer the Evoque though tbh.

23" wheels too small????

I have always thought I would have to have  Jag one day-but that the current range was either too big or too impractical for my needs as with a wife and teenage daughters I fairly often need 4-5 seats but don't want a vast rig to park........

Here's what must have made me think of it, but I agree the Jag is nicer :)

I don't think it'll be as popular with the poser WAG types as the Ewok as they used skinny Beckham, which was quite clever for the intended market.

I just figured out that an 'Ewok' is an Evoque :giggle:

Personally I doubt VB had much to do with it, more of a marketing gimmik, albeit a clever one, to entice yummy mummies to buy their product by LR. She may have said something along the lines of 'can it be fitted with a mohair glove box that will store a pair of 9" Prada's' and then LR can claim 'designed by a thick, ugly, stick-thin famous idiot who was once a Spice Girl but married a rich footballer to get more column inches' it was designed by Victoria Beckham.

Ewok?

If anyone gets that, I salute you

Looks better than that Bentley one aired recently.

Probably just me, but I find all these sort of cars a bit naff looking, in that they're pumped up versions of the brands' normal cars. The Yeti, Sportage and Ewok seem to be more designed to be an SUV, and appeal more for it.

I guess the Porsche Cajun or whatever it'll eventually be called will be another rival to the Ewok too.

First time I saw a Cayenne it nearly ran me over - not the driver's fault, I was just so gobsmacked at the repugnant monstrosity bearing down on me that my normal scampering pace was vastly reduced. The current version is a lot less bad; looks-wise I'd rather have one than a Q7.

This Jag appeals to me. I loved the XF I tried but it was a bit big, a bit low, and a bit under-driven front wheels wise. It's not as overstyled as the Evoque, so the visibility out of the back windows and for rear passengers looks a lot better. I know it won't be Yeti money, but it it's at all sensibly priced I'll be having a go in one in two and a half years.

Looking forward to getting them in due course :)

. . . . I know it won't be Yeti money, but it it's at all sensibly priced I'll be having a go in one in two and a half years.

If Jaguars current pricing policy is anything to go by, I doubt it will be at all competitive - just look at the pricing for the F Type (starts at £58,520, when it really should be £38,520!)

Still the C-X17 (did Gerry Anderson come up with that name?) looks good and no doubt will sell well - probably taking quite a few sales away from the Range Rover Sport along the away (perhaps a bit of an own goal there).
