N/S/F Window Regulator

Featured Replies

Hi, Need some help identifying if I have broken a critical part in the door. Took off the riveted panel that holds the regulator in a rush on Sunday to see what had broken. In doing so I broke a black plastic part on the door lock mechanism. See images below circled in red...

Replace or leave as is? Also would it be worth changing the whole panel or just the regulator mechanism as the speaker is riveted also? Many Thanks Bhana

can't quite be 100% but it *might* be the guide for the rod that connects to the door pin that pops up and down on the door.

It's part of the mechanism that holds the cable that's connected to the internal handle in place. You might get away with drilling the rivet out and putting another in it's place from a broken lock.

This part circled if I'm not mistaken.

Your red-circled bit looks like a bit of the black plastic bracket that Tech1e suggests tearing off and throwing across the garage, doesn't it?

If so, I think you can manage without it!
