Import price for VRS TDI hatch manual from Northern Ireland works out at €27.214 based on 17% vrt that's a grand saving before any discount you should be able to negotiate at least another grand off.

They were always dearer here in Ireland. In 2012 a Vrs tdi was €29k so I think u uk guys got a bigger price increase with the new mklll Vrs. Also don't forget we get a full spec in Ireland as u guys have to add options.

Strange that different versions have different mark-ups in price for the Combi.

The best seller here will be the diesel,hatch in manual so €32745 will be what most are looking at.
