Have a few light scratches on piano black centre console drawer lid. Is there a best way to remove them?

Have had Karoq from new last year, there was no paperwork about Skoda breakdown cover but could anyone confirm it’s included for 3 years? For trips abroad would it cover Europe also?

With DSG it’s possible to control the start stop - press brake normally/hard to a stop and the engine will turn off, pressing more lightly to a stop keeps engine on.

Was the passenger door open? The release won’t work if the passenger door is closed.

Mine is holding up - 5 years, 92k miles, a bit shiny in main wear/hold places but overall decent quality part of the car.

It might be loose brake disc dust covers. Both front ones on mine made the noise for a while. Then got them replaced and all quiet again.

For me it consistently happened at the same point on the commute - about 10 minutes in on a straight, uphill section of dual carriageway when the engine was under a consistent, decent load. Mine is 2013 1.6 TDI - this happened about 6 or 7 times in 2016 out of warranty and then seemed to fix itself! It didn’t happen again ever since and I recently had a scheduled water pump/cam belt change at 90k miles.

I have 2013 TDI DSG and it keeps in Eco mode on each start up. Had a courtesy 2017 TDI DSG and it reverts to 'D' mode on each start up when in Eco. Also noticed the 2017 model coasts far less than the 2013 in Eco mode.

Interesting - the dealer I was at was very reluctant to give me paperwork actually documenting the 34H5 work - it was not stated on the invoice paperwork. I had to specifically ask for proof of this and they typed up a separate document. If I had not asked I would not have been given anything.
