Who else offers guaranteed & like for like loan car?

Featured Replies

Currently with direct line who offer like for like guaranteed car in event of a claim.

Is there anyone else who offers this, regardless of fault?

I have my car in for repair this week after someone bumped into the back of my S4.

My insurance wanted to put me in a 1.0 litre noddy car, even though I wasn't at fault.

I rang Accident exchange and they sorted everything out including a temporary S5 cabriolet to get about in :)

They even guaranteed to repair my car at an Audi approved centre at no cost to myself regardless of the outcome. Bizzarrely I had to ring my insurers to close the claim as I was no longer using them. Apparantly they take out a new insurance policy to cover the possibilty of the claim not being won by them.

I would thoroughly recommend them if you ever have the unfortunate need to.

not sure about regardless of fault but esure do if it is a no fault claim

told me like for like tried to bum me off with a meriva

stood my ground and ended up with a mercedies 220 sport

Everyone will do it if a non fault claim as they recover costs from the 3rd party.

I'm after someone who will give you one regardless of fault and of a similar size.

I am also with direct line and had a fault claim a few years ago and they gave me a 3 door Seat Ibiza to replace an Octavia estate, despite paying for the guaranteed hire car. Eventually they gave me a focus but it was after a few days.

I haven't come across anyone else who offers it.
