Hi guys

I have the task of fitting a replacement near side front wing on my mk1 octi vrs.

I have eyed up the job and all seems fairly straight forward bar 2 pretty awkward to get to fasteners in the door recess, any hints and tip for the best way forward and getting the job done would be hugely appreciated ????

a socket on an extension in the door recess. Don't forget the little bolt at the bottom of the wing to the arch. Trim the underseal with a sharp knife if necessary between the sill and the wing edge to allow removal easily.

Nice, cheers buddy just had another look and the 2 nuts that i thought were gonna really give me a headache are atcually gonna be exposed when i remove the inner arch, so panic over. Thanks for the comeback though muchas grassy ????

Cheers Bowders, just this sec finished, it was a really easy job to be honest, i would put before and after pics on but dont know how to? The difficult part is now to find out who did it so i can put the old wing through they'r windscreen lol

You could probably get that blue mark out your bumper with some t cut or rubbing compound.

 

Now go look for a blue car with silver paint on it

Yeah did it just after posting the other pics yesterday, used some of mu cutting comp

From my polishing gear then waxed it after and it came up a treat.

Also have a new indicater in the post, then job done. Total ... £60 all in.
