Generally produce good quality track/race tyres, remoulds ok for rally use etc.

Dont know much about road going tyres though.

They only go up to V speed rating according to their website, so not very useful for most of the vRS owners and the like. Apart from that, though, they have an OK range it would appear and the prices are good -

Had their remoulds on my old XR3i, they were on the car when I bought it. They soon came off though because I took it to a tyre place due to some vibration to get the wheels balanced. The tyres were oval in shape and were no longer round.

Load rating is too low for mine on the 205/55 16s :(

I think that was the 924 challenge - they were a control tyre and as far as lap records go - each track will have a lap record for each race formula - i cannot see colways beating an outright lap record.

I used to use colways on the mini for loose surface events - they were great in the forest and on grass but on tarmac the amount of chunky tread on them gave a very loose feeling to the handling - they didn't drift badly but felt like it so i used the Yokohama 008 which was an excellant tyre

I used them on various cars including my quattro's... For the money and performance they were very good, generally out handling and outlasting
