Suspension Question

Featured Replies

I have a 55 plate octavia estate. 1.9 diesel.

I have officially entered middle age and bought a caravan, and have heard that there is a good suspension mod that firms up the back end and improves towing the caravan.

Can anybody sdvise on this? And probable costs?

Thanks in advance, folks.

I recall seeing something on here about it - kinda block things that sit in your springs (I think) to stop them compressing so much and as a result, firming up the rear end / reducing squat when hitched up to a caravan. Not sure what they're called though!

I thinks they be called spring assisters.

Thanks, Chaps.

Spring assisters look like the kiddies. And not too expensive to try at about £25 a set.
