Four months old and bits are dropping off! (I think)

Featured Replies

Today's trivia question.

I've just washed the Yeti and I can see the nut that holds the rear wiper arm. Am I just terribly unobservant and they are all like this or at four months old has a bit dropped off? And if it's dropped off - should something like that be covered by the warranty? I guess its only a plastic moulding so probably not more than twenty quid at the dealer's.

(Sorry it's a bit blurred, but i think clear enough to see what i mean)

This has cropped up before - it does look a bit unfinished somehow, but that's just how they are. At least the rear wiper arm on my Yeti has looked like that from new.

If there wasnt that cut out the rear screen wash would not work, thats where the water sprays out.

really?

Yes, which is a great feature IMO - gives the rear a nice clean look. :)

Until the wiper motor fills up with water. They all end up like this - dumbo design. Only a complete idiot would route water through a motor with a rotating seal, rather than use a fixed jet on the body.

rotodiesel.

Contact your local dealership and they will repair it.
