Thanks for all the nice comments.

240v hook up all done now and TV installed. Naturally it all works through the stereo system. :)

Thanks :) There will be no more online updates after a targeted break in at my unit. The person(s) responsible broken into my unit (1 of 20) so they knew what they were after so not advertising my work further just to attract thieves who would rather steal someones stuff rather than earn it themselves or lack the talent to do it.

******s, sorry to hear about it Ross.

Really feel for you mate. Stealing seems an all to common accurance now a days and there seems to be no real deterent from a law point of view. More often than not it seems to just be a slap on the wrist and not much more. And as a victim you never seem to get compensated regardless! Well that's sort of been my experience in the past anyway.

I hope the project carries on all the same and it hasn't tainted your enthusiasm.

Decided as the scrote who broke into the unit now knows we know it was him (although sadly can't prove it to the authorities) its unlikely that he will try again so here's an update. :)

Another lovely weekend away with the family. The few modifications made to improve storage worked a treat and the weather was much better so a good time was had by all. Decided as not all campsites allow gazebos (not 100% sure why, still haven't had an answer from one campsite I asked) we will get a drive away awning, I have found a nice air beam (inflatable) one that will suit our needs perfectly.

Really like the camper, makes me miss my Dodge Day-van. First I have heard about camp sites not allowing Gazebos, surely a gazebo is just a giant tent still, many are smaller then the big tents that are on the market currently.

Us that the vango keela?

It's not a Vango, its a Quest Leisure one (about £100 cheaper).

Love the camping life.

I can't believe I've only just noticed this thread.

You've done a good job with that it looks really tidy and very functional.

What sized MCB have you used for the 240V sockets though? It looks like you wired up the pair of double sockets with just a single run of 2.5mm flex which I wouldn't like to be fused at anything other than 13 amps.
