Featured Replies

I have to press my unlock button twice to unlock my doors and its driving the Mrs crazy,is there anyway i can change this to one " click" of the fob and all my doors open ??

Thanks

Also how do you diarm the seatbelt bonging noise ?

Ta again

Use your seatbelt and it won't bong. :)

The locking behavior can be configured in the Maxidot on my car. If you don't have Maxidot I have no idea, sorry.

It annoys the **** out of me!! Particularly because it has to make that really annoying BIP noise every time- must be annoying the neighbours too!

You can turn this off or just have it beep when you lock the car.

The alarm confirmation 'chirp' is very quiet on the Octy though. I'd be surprised if it annoyed anyone!

But as said that can be turned off too. It's off as default, so presume an owner before you has chosen to have that activated?

Double press for unlocking is an anti-theft device. I remind SWMBO that her sister was robbed via the rear passenger door when she unlocked her car. She still is annoyed though.

Women!

It's also not that difficult when it's enabled, if you just hit the unlock button twice :)

It's a marmite setting though, I agree. I have it disabled myself....
