New vRS Deposit..

Featured Replies

I have ordered my new vRS and was looking at the order today, it appears I get my £500 deposit back when the car is delivered - awesome..

As the money has already been accounted for - it means I can spend it on other stuff..

I was wondering what you would spend the £500 on?  The only rule I have in mind is that it must improve the vRS or be Skoda / car related.

Specs are:

Skoda Octavia III Estate

2.0 TSI in Race Blue

Privacy glass

Canton Sound System

Sat Nav upgrade

vRS Mats

AutoGlym protection.

Now I know my Briskoda membership has expired, so I'll reserve £20 for a 2 year membership.

So the question is - What would you buy for £480 to improve / upgrade / complement your Skoda. The suggestions must be value for money (so I don't want to hear that I can buy your vRS mirror fuzzy dice for £480).

I can always syphon off SWMBO's Fabia Monte Carlo... That should have a full tank most of the time..

Could of saved yourself ££ for not opting for the Autoglym life shine stuff.

£480 would pay for a weeks trip to Nurburgring ;)

Driver training.

I'd pay to have a protection detail by a proper detailer.

Driver training.

Got plenty of years of driving experience, also done a defensive driving course.

I wouldn't bother with the Autoglym stuff either.

Some money on stonechip film for the low down areas.

The rest hmmm, new telly?

Likewise with the autoglym kit. Cancel it, save a wedge of cash and if you really want do it yourself.

Then spend the cash on fuel..as others suggested.
