Has any one had a cruise control retrofitted?

Is it worth it anyway?

I like it but you may not be able to on the Sport (unless you have the sunroof) - there is a thread on this somewhere.

Very tricky to check your BCM but i found it easier to use my mobile phone cam to take a pic, and use a torch for additional light.

 

This will show whether you can physically retro fit it in the first place

today i asked my dealer and he made a quick call to the people who retro fit it and they said YES it can be done. £380 + VAT..

Why do you need to have a Sunroof to fit Cruise?

Auric Goldfinger - sorry I cannot remember the details of the previous thread on this but basically it said that the standard ecu does not support cruise control but the other ecu fitted to cars with start/stop or the electric sun roof have the capacity for the cruise option even if it has not been fitted (making it easy to retro-fit). But, as Damo said, check the BCM to be sure.
