Am I right this is just a pressure monitor and it just means tyres need a bit of air? What's the button under the radio with the same symbol and the word set do?

That is exactly right.

That button is to reset the system once you have topped up air in any of the tyres.

Mine came on the day before we went on holiday.

 

Went to a local garage- 20p in the air machine, topped up tyres to correct pressure, got back in car, & started engine, held button in for approx 3 seconds & the light went off, its been ok since.

If you search for TPMS on here you'll discover there is a bit of a love / hate (like Marmite) relationship with it.
