Vag-com And Workshop Manual

Featured Replies

....in my part of the world the service that you can expect from any car dealer (Skoda or not) is bad or very bad. I am amazed when I read your posts about your dealers trying to solve problems like chassis or seat noises*.... Here if it still moves and it is in one piece it means that is perfect... they do not even bother to reset the service remainder after an oil change (...I was stupid enough to ask for it, it took a half hour!)

so,

I decided to get vag-com software but to get most out of it a good workshop manual is necessary...

Does anyone know how/where I can get one?

If no Skoda manual is available at decent price, I can order together with vag-com one of the WW/Audi Bentley cd's (see http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/bcd_order.html) but none of them covers AUQ engine code (I own an RS)

There is any equivalent of AUQ engine among USA 1.8T models (AWD, AWW, AWP, AMU, ATC, APH, AWV

Hello there, good to hear that you've solved the knocking sound on your front seats. Any idea about any vibration sound though coming from the rear when the car goes fast over speed strips? I just have no idea where its coming from and have suspecting it to be the jack and the spare tire.

Any experience?

Is sort of a {drinnnnnnnnngggggggg} vibration sound. Doesn't appear over normal humps or anything though. More due to impact.

Brandon

Hmmmm....find it strange if the engine codes are different in the States. Can't remember what code goes with what engine....Denis will know.....but the 1.8T in the Golf/Bora should be the 150bhp engine but these are different to the 1.8T engine in the 4x4. I don't think there is an 1.8T 4x4 VW.... I can only think of the 4Motion V6 Golf/Bora/Jetta in the US.

Brandon,

My car has a similar noise coming from the back... I my case is not the jack or the spare tire because I got everything out from boot and sound is still there. At a quick look: it may be the door itself, the plastic parts above the wheels or the pipes from tank
