Boot floor question

Featured Replies

Hi folks. We've had our yeti for a few months now (elegance 140 diesel) and I'm really impressed with it. One area I would like to improve, is the boot space. We have a full sized spare in there with the little foamy cubby hole things.

I was wondering if it is possible to take the spare out, and fit a lower boot floor? I'm not too concerned about losing the spare, I would only change the wheel myself if I can get well off the carriage way, and most of the time my wife would be driving. There's no way on earth she would attempt to change the wheel!

The extra space would be really useful too, 2 kids under three years old means there is a mountain of stuff to cart around for days out and trips away for the weekend!

If anyone has a how to guide, or part numbers from Skoda to ask about, I would live to find out what they are!

Thanks, Andy

In short yes.

I did it on my old Yeti.

Part numbers are on the forum somewhere. Been done by many.

Boot does from 300 odd litres to over 400 litres.

As the father of a 2-year old I was also focused on getting more boot space from the Yeti as soon as I got it. For me it was just a case of removing the spare and foam cubbyholes, and then using the original boot floor laid flat on the - now also flat - floor. I did not need to use any pther parts, the floor fits perfectly with one edge tucked under the seats.
