Just to let members know that on my renewal esure were very very competitive

I am old and live in a cheap area but it was surprisingly cheap

No links to esure - but they were able to mirror across no claims bonus on family wagon to the Vrs and offer a 10% multi-car discount

Used moneysupermarket and go compare and tried a few of the direct insurers who don't use the comparison sites - and esure by far the cheapest

Perhaps they are rating the vrs differently to other insurers? Or perhaps their recent quote on the stock market combined with poor results and a warning over prospects for the rest of the year has sparked them in to ultra competitive mode.

Whatever, it is good news for vrs owners!!!

Hmm I miss the reasonable prices of British insurance! Cheapest I have found for me (admittedly im only 24) was around €850-900 

Just as well the road tax is cheap.. oh wait

My renewal is £250, which I think it pretty reasonable considering how I drive it.

Esure were the best when I was looking at getting a VRS but when I got the Monte instead the insurance was more?? but saying that most of the insurers I contacted were cheaper on the VRS  than the Monte??

Perks of driving a 1.4 Skoda

Esure were cheapest (£221) this renewal but as Elephant came down to £230 I stayed with them. I can't believe how cheap it is for a group 27 car in Glasgow.
