Wheel bearing/hub price advice

Featured Replies

Hi guys I was wondering if there's anyone who could advise me on how much I should be paying for a wheelbearing and hub...plus fitted!

fabia vrs 06

Last year front WB replacement on our Fab Classic quoted around the £200 or just over mark.

We ended up doing it ourselves using the workshop where my lad works. Parts wise you're looking at < £50. ;)

is that 50 each? I've been quoted 75 for one bearing and hub plus fitted

Probably difficult for me to quote in relation to the vRS?

Labour wise we were looking at around 1.5 hrs so probably a case of working that up with parts + the dreaded VAT!

Give me a shout on Monday at All German Parts - 01132775245 I will try sort you out - we only do the FAG bearings.

I paid £110 S+F for a bearing/hub assy a couple of months ago!

75 notes is a good price, As long as It's a decent quality part!

I fitted a FAG one the other day, I remember laughing at the name.

I paid £38 each for the bearing/hub. Both FAG too.

Passenger rear cost me £50 fitted last week. Literally a 5 minute job.
