Which door speakers will go straight in...?

Featured Replies

Ok folks a simple one here. i want to upgrade my door speakers front and rear but which ones would go in without much fuss.

I'll just sneak in here, and lurk for a while till someone makes a suggestion, as I'm also interested in this (Fabby GL II Estate) ;)

Yo si hop on, i think there is a lot about fabia 2 door speakers if ya search the forum history. yeh maybe i shud have done that. LOL

You will need 6.5 inch front and rear. Buy a spare pair of front A pillars, they have tweeters already stuck on (£12 when I bought mine last year) not too deep 50-55 mm depth should fit without too much work. Mine are about nearly 70mm (with some work)...thicker baffles and I got a pair of scissors to cut some grill off on the inside of the door card.

you'll need baffles/spacers, easy to make from mdf/wood or buy plastic ones (autoleads) but mdf are better, whilst you're at it, put some sound deadening on..
