10000 happy miles!

Featured Replies

I'll happily get in on this. Nice happy positive post.

I'm coming up on 8k ish on mine, still entertains me so much on the drive to work and whenever I have an excuse to get out in it and with a few minor mods is just getting better and better. Mine's an early example of the original class of 2010 and at 40k going strong.

Here's to another happy 10k fella :)

8k on mine, one litre of oil (same as my last one in the first 10k then nothing at ALL after) , seems faster than my previous car, better interior, handling mods are absolutley rocking it! maybe this one is a keeper ;)

Passed 42k at the beginning of the week (although only 20k on this engine)...and keeps getting better.   Stoke on Trent to South West Germany on Sunday at an indicated 41mpg isn't bad given I spent a fair chunk of autobahn time knocking on the door of 100mph..

By coincidence, I've just rolled over 16000km in mine today, which is more or less 10,000 miles. It's used about 4L of oil in that time, which is probably way too much, but not as bad as some. Still love the car, though.

I "only" have a Monte, but 15500 was passed the other day.

I love the car, I treated it to a proper job with the Dyson this weekend (as well as fixing the belly plate rattle) and it smells like new again, even at 16 months!
