Photos added.

Sorry to be a pain, I've been informed I won't be able to reprogram this for my car : (

Thanks anyway!

Funny that because I reprogrammed it from a Fabia vRS to an Octavia

Who ever told you that is wrong.

The remote can be re-programmed with no problem and without VagCom. You can just attach the bottom half of your old key with the blade and immobiliser chip to this one.

Still for sale.

Still here

I'll take it.

PM me payment details :)

I bought a second hand key from a fellow member and was told by an independent Vag specialist that you can only program these keys once so I dont know how you managed to reprogram this one.

It's like 50p for a new transponder chip on eBay.

I have loads of these keys in my toolbox at work since I have a small sideline making emergency entry keys and reprogramming.

Pm me if you need a key (after this has sold of course.)

Its not the immobiliser part that I was selling, that's just attached in the photo. The advert is for the 3 button fob, hence the title,  which is easily programmed without VagCom or any other tools.

it may help if you let people know the part number from the remote as there's several VAG 3 button remotes that look identical but are different. Most of the part numbers aren't cross compatible

It might have done, but most of the replies have been from people telling me that the key fob cannot be re-coded even though it can.
