Superpro bushes offers

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

We are running a group buy on Superpro bushes at the moment so wanted to let everyone know as people tend to stay in model specific forums rather than searching the site,

Here it is - http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/289039-superpro-bushes-group-buy/

Please note that the Mk2 Fabia changes after 2010 so its best to let me know a chassis number to confirm which ones are which. Superpro have confirmed up to 2010 it uses the Mk1 front suspension are bushes with console mounted bushes and then it changes to a horizontally mounted bush pressed into the wishbones.

Drop us a pm if you have any questions

Guys I had these on my Fabia vRS and it was a MASSIVE improvement in the feel and control of the Steering which was lets be fair, woeful as standard.

Back along I paid £280 incl fitting for the kit at GB prices.  100% worth the price.  Borderline comparable with the ARB upgrade IMO.

Which one did you have Sy: Front & Rear / Front & Rear Anti-Lift / Running Gear / Front Control Arm kit?

Also, Front & Rear and Front & Rear Anti-Lift kits cost the shame so what's the case with this anti-lift?

Thanks

Edit: Out of curiosity when would the stock bushes be up for replacement normally? 3-4 years? I'm thinking given the car is currently 2 years old and boring winter is coming I could leave them for the moment, and go for the superpro ones some time spring '14.

bushes will be my next mod.... not yet though, I'm out of money for year , and track day tyres will come first in the spring!

Is the full set up really worthwhile, I was thinking of just doing the control arm kit. What will the full kit give benefit wise against the control arm kit which I had believed is where the steering gains are to be had?

Also I've read that this will potentially pass more vibrations and rattle into the dash, not so desirable for a daily driver. Can anyone comment on this severity/noticability.

As with Sharkrider, I'm interested in doing this mod.

The full set up gets it all done and you don't have to worry about it again for a while. It would be more cost effective too on fitting and alignment.

You would notice the control arm for sure.

You won't really get any noticeable noise, vibration or harshness as you would with uprated engine mounts.

Slightly more steering feel but no negative effects.

Thanks Rob, are you ok to explain the difference on the anti lift kit, if I understand correctly I believe it allows more camber edit: caster, oops, but would be great to get the definitive answer.

It allows more castor resulting in Improved steering feel, better turn in and a reduction in understeer

The steering feel can be slightly heavier but its in a good way and the car drives a lot better for it.

I had the Front/rear kit with anti lift.  For me it was a know brainer and there is a massive improvment in steering feel and control.

I never noticed any more vibration than when it was stock.  I cant compare with just fronts v ful chassis, but ultimately there is only the rear pivot arm bushg at the back so its not exactly a huge saving to be made by just doing the fronts.  IMO better to do it nice than do it twice!!

Haha, I totally agree but when I'm looking at the car budget I have set aside and the massive list of things I want to get done, every penny counts. Nothing to stop me coming back to the rears at some point.

But then you potentially have two wheel alignments to pay for paired with the fact you will probably get a cheaper labour deal by doing it at once.

My wallet curses you.

I am going to run this until Friday 4th October and then get the order in.

Some have paid already and I will order those now.

Thanks
