I was thinking of lashing a bit on a nav

Is there any way to fit a Kenwood DNX520VBT ? I don't know if this will fit so probably gotta stick to 2 din I guess.

There are others like the Sony / Pioneer AVIC units but I don't really know what would be good to go for ?!

 

Satnav, bluetooth, and cd at least would be a required. Also either FM at least, or digital.

Dvd - nice but not essential although standard I guess with the others above.

What do you guys use....?

That one won't fit, the shape is wrong. Only the rectangular boxy ones fit the Fabia.

 

I have a Kenwood unit in mine and can't complain, same with Pioneer... You never really read any bad reviews on them.

Cool, just a standard 2 DIN one then...pity with the oem ones, whilst they appear more cramped I think they offer a bigger screen and I like the side buttons

 

Like you said though, you can't really sneeze at any of them....once you buy one, is the next thing to be had one of those dummy radio covers, seem like a good idea ?

 

The only thing that would be nice (icing on top) is if they work with my excellent RM-X4S remote stalk I currently use with my Sony...so a Sony would probably be best to tick that box - but finding a used Sony is like finding rocking horse dung

You can pretty much connect any head unit to the Sony stalk as long as you use a Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface

 

Mine with a JVC Nav Head Unit

Although currently finding a cost effective din with nav is my first priority - and can't do app radio as they don't really do much on android....yet

 

What have you done to that dash ?? Looks radically different, doesn't even look like Fabia lol

 

Removed centre vents and replaced with custom dash ?
