Is there any alternative for the black plastic Skoda badge fitted in the coil cover, next to the oil filler cap on a TSI?

i bought a rear badge from ebay and stuck it on top of the black plastic skoda badge

tis a perfect fit.

its been 1.5 yrs so far - no problems, and it still looks the same as it did on day 1.

I like the black version on mine, would have it on the car if mine wasn't silver

certainly use it everyday - 7 days a week.

i'm just about to clock 62,000 kms.

 

i clean the car atleast once a month, and when i do, i try and get into the nooks & crannies in the engine bay.

I did initially try...but it didn't seem possible without butchering it.

So I removed the pins on the back of the rear badge I bought & super glued it on top of the black badge.

Did you remove the whole cover or just try it in situ?

I had a look but it seems a cover off job to me.

cover off for me.

though not required, it does make it easier to line it up though.
