Cruise help

Featured Replies

I've just fitted cruise to my '04 vRS using a genuine skoda accessory kit from the dealer. Mate at skoda has activated it but still not working is there any thing I should be checking before I book it in to my local indie VAG specialist.

Cheers Chris.

You need to get VCDS diagnostic done. Both the clutch & brake switches are prone to failure & will stop the cruise control activating if faulty.

Do you have the clutch switch in place and the black clip that clips on the rear of the clutch pedal ?

Just a update to this finally got it up and running it was my stupidity 2 wires to the ECU where in the wrong pins should have been pin 75,76 but I fitted to 74,75 all working perfectly now.

Part no. from Skoda dealer part no. is BEA 300 003 complete kit for 1.8t and 2.0.

Glad you got it sorted, enjoy relaxed driving. I love mine, use it every chance I get.

I have cruise on mine and i get real uncomfortable with it on more so when going down hills. Find myself only using it if the motorway is empty like at night

I use it all the time got it on my work car as well

It helps me avoid speeding especially through 30mph villages.

I use it as often as I can when driving my Fabia and Octavia at steady speed.

It's the best gadget on any car much more useful than auto lights/ wipers or smart keys.
