Been looking for a replacement for my 2004 Audi A4 Avant Tdi for some 3 months or so. Was looking to move up to an A6 Avant due to the family growing up and my son (only 15 years old and just over 6 foot), not having enough leg room in the rear. We also found that the boot is not anywhere near large enough for all the truck we take with us when go away on holiday!!

 

Anyhow, although there are plenty A6's about (buying second hand), I just couldn't find a nice example with lowish miles for the money I was willing to part with.. I was advised by my brother in-law (a Police Traffic Sergeant) to consider a Skoda as they use them and all have been very impressed with their performance and reliability. So, off I went to our local Skoda dealer (Wings of Peterborough), and had a look at a Superb (A6 equivalent) and was very, very impressed at the solid, quality and excellent tasteful interior. After a test drive I was even more impressed and couldn't believe the amount of car for the money.

 

Needles to say, I paid a deposit and should hopefully be picking her up within the next week or so..... Can't wait...Cracking car!
