Claybank Skoda?

Thought I recognised those railings, and tight parking!

Looks great - good combo with the black and silver.

Ah, sorry, thought you ordered from Mitchells. That's where mine was ordered :)

Oh god no, I'll never set foot in that place!

Some would also say that about Claybank....

All about individual's dealer experiences I guess.

True but then Claybank haven't sold me there ex-demo and told me it had never been crashed or repaired only for me to find a few days into ownership the whole rear quarter has been resprayed.....

Called my insurance today to get them to change my policy over from my current 2011 vRS to the new one, the charge, £15 admin fee. Happy days.

Make sure its the right car and not the old one, they said £15 charge for me at first then phoned again and had a very helpful chap search to make sure correct car and i got a £100 refund.

This was also from my old 2012 mk2

I think it should be standard on the vRS, the chrome grille looks naff, the black wing mirrors are probably the best bit on a light coloured car.

Au contraire.

The first after-market outfit that comes up with a fully-chromed grille and chrome honeycomb intakes will make a killing.

We'll I got him to double check the reg and it's right.

I'd have stop start switched off because it's ***** annoying ! That's why.

You prefer black rubber to silver metal?

On a black VRS, in particular, silver would look so classy?

Anyone care to photoshop the black VRS on the www.skoda.co.uk website accordingly?

That's fine then, up the difficulty I had was the reg wasn't recognised so had to search the actual car then add the reg to it

who mentioned a black car? I thought Neil's car was silver? Anyway. Yes I do prefer the de-chromed look. My last 4 octavias have had colour coded grilles so I'm biased ;)

Today's the day, spoke to dealer and it's all ready to go, he just wanted me to confirm if I wanted the reg plates stuck on or screwed on.

Collecting at 5ish this afternoon :)

You must have it now? Time for lots of photos please ;)

I must say, silver and black pack looks very good. The angles look awesome.

I've ordered my vRS estate in blue which also comes with the black pack. I think the standard wheels in anthracite are far better than the upgrade wheels. Looks great in silver.

Lovely glad I went for silver now after seeing these pics, a bit jelous I didn't go for the black pack though

Well it's home now and I bloody love it! Feels so different from my facelift, only done 50 miles in it but the engine pulls so much better from low down and the ride is miles better! The only criticism i have at the minute is the wing mirros are quite small and you can see as much out to the sides of my facelift but i'm sure i'll get used to it.

No pictures yet as its going for a GTechniq treat on Friday so the dealer was instructed to clean so its pretty dirty from being sat in their compound for over a week, it's still got the chalk writing on the glass from the factory which i'm going to clean off today
