60 litres at 6o odd mpg = a whole lot. (780 near nuff)but when I invariably "chicken out" and fill her, never get more than 50 litres in the tank.

So based on 50 = nom 11 gall at 60 = 660

I could squeeze over 1000 miles out of the Galaxy, per the trip comp, based on 500 odd miles driven with over 500 to next fuel.

And frequently had 999miles to next fuel come up having driven 20 or 25 or 35 after fuelling up.

I never actually managed to drive her for the 1000 miles since I could not stay awake long enough.

Two fills of the petrol Vrs showing 47 litres in and circa 320-330 miles. Didn't buy her for economy but not too bad. Should improve as she lossens up..

2.0 TDI Elegance hatch with DSG.

 

400 miles a tank (when fuel comp says 50 miles to fill up).

 

Real world ~43mpg.

What's interesting is that ever since day 1 of having the car, after I've filled up the computer shows 430 miles range.

 

IF it really could do the 63mpg combined then surely the computer would say 693 mile range after a fill up.

 

The car KNOWS the governement figures are utter ****

My last fill up the calculated fuel consumption was 62.3 mpg and the range on the OBC 590 miles

My challenge when I get the car is to see if I can hit the official skoda figures of 67 Mpg combined! Or after the engines bedded in at least.

I reset my long term when I picked mine up and have had a minimum trip computer MPG of 45 since then.... however my car has been reading a range of 360 miles for over a third of a tank now lol.
