Facelift brochure info...when available?

Featured Replies

Thought I spotted that the Skoda UK car configurator has more detail on the F/L and it appears

to be slightly different from what I can recall for the outgoing model but pic's are still not updated.

Any one have any info when more detail will be available as you appear to be able to place an order

for F/L in the dark about what you get and prices!!

Still as confusing as ever with Interior PHK as an option???

We're just awaiting full options list and interior trim. Full spec is out and will try and post up when fully awake

Sorry to get you out of bed... thanks. I have one with that spec (SE) on the drive! (LOL)!!! ...nearly.

Was thinking it would be more of a technology and engine update too...but look like they are still using

the old VW parts bin. Mainly a body/wheels superficial tweak.

The S appears slightly better equipped than it used to be :wonder:

But their still fitting Audi TT wheels to the SE and Elegance; SUK not realised yet then that a Monster is not a sports car :giggle:

Anyone able to tell me: Is the L&K only available with the brown leather? Or is black at least an option? Not seen it in the flesh, but brown upholstery in amongst black plastic doesn't sound very appealing.

Edited by prodata

Oh also notice SUK are sticking with the limited model selection for us over here in the UK; petrol 4x4 only on the L&K and no 110 4x4 Elegance.

In the unlikely event I replace the current Monster with a new Lego one it will be from Elegance to S spec :giggle:

The previous L&K was available ONLY in black with white stitching with no option of Gobi.  So I suspect the brown will be your only choice.  Unless they do Ivory as per the Superb L&K, but I VERY much doubt that.

Thanks. Hmm, Skoda do appear to be trying quite hard not to encourage me to buy a new (Outdoor) Yeti with the failure to upgrade the engine/gearbox range in the FL and then overlaid with the rather perverse allocation of models between L&K and Elegance, at least in the higher-end types that I'm looking at. No final decision as yet  - still weighing up (given that there's no 1.8TSi DSG option) 1.8TSi (L&K with the brown seats :wonder: ) vs CR170 DSG (which has to be Elegance of course, not a well-priced package vs L&K and I'm tiring rather of the CR170 growl and other background noises) and I might still be swayed if there's a major price differential, but I'm definitely being tempted into Q3 territory.

Speaking to a dealer at the weekend he said that it was brown only.

You're right.

Skoda have been 100% successful in deterring me.

I wonder what next year will bring?

(What's the new Kia Soul like now?) :wonder:

As I said when saw the L&K at the Frankfurt motor show the brown is VERY subtle.  Not enough of an uplift for me to upgrade.  So honestly wait until you've seen it.  It is just enough different to make the interior look very classy but not really overtly brown as thankfully they did not make the dashboard or steering wheel brown as they did when they ruined the Superb L&K.  Only the doorcards and seats are brown.

The Soul was one of my top three favourite cars at the motor show.  Really a fantastic little device.  Boot way too small but really grown up looking outside and a great interior.

Meh - can only get a 4x4 petrol in L&K trim - and at a top whack price

Second time in 6 months that Skoda are telling me that they just don't want me to own one of their cars...

Well , FL L&K 170 in Shark Blue is on order with a build week of 02/2014 at the moment.

Am totally confused with the Options List which appears to show L&K standard items as options even to the point that L&K Wood Inserts are chargeable options on an L&K, no Alloys are standard and no Leather is standard.

Dont seem to be able to get rear view camera either.

Its either a complete mess or I am unable to read an Options list, I just hope the specs shown above are on the ball.

Cheers Aerofurb, just the blind leading the blind, no doubt things will become clearer when SUK get their fingers out.

Wow - this must be a record. Build week confirmed already? When did you order?

Hi, 4 October, but have only just got build week.

Hi, 4 October, but have only just got build week.

Ordered mine on 7th October. Was yours an Outdoor model? I better chase the dealer. Anyway, at least you have a date to work to. Thanks for info.

Sounds like from posts here that the limited engines & spec are driving( pardon the pun) Yeti owners away, as well as some Octy owners ( me being 1).

With the announcement that there will be no Fabia III vRS, lets see how many more customers they can alienate when they announce the new Fabia next year.

Maybe they dont like the factory running at capacity, & having customers having to wait 6 months for their car - they are trying to discourage buyers of their brand.

It's an L&K Outdoor.
