Full carbon Octavia Mk2 vRS hatch rear spoiler

Featured Replies

Changed my mind about fitting this, as I don't particularly want to drill my boot lid, given mine is originally Elegance spec.

If you have a vRS already (fits both pre-FL and FL) then it's a straight swap for you.

Originally from Superskoda, where is €350 or £300. More details and some library photos available on their site: http://www.superskoda.com/skoda/octavia-ii/skoda-octavia-ii-real-blue-carbon-fibre-rs-spoiler

Not to be confused with cheaper, fake carbon offerings. This is a proper CF mould and the weave can clearly be seen in the photos below.

Has been previously fitted, with adhesive used in addition to the four bolt holes (in OEM locations for easy fitment). You might find that your OEM spoiler just uses the bolts though.

Price: £200, plus postage if required - likely to be around £10. Local pickup also more than welcome, so you can see it in real life first.

Cheers, Steve

I'd fit it, Only Elegance spec! thats the best spec out there

Cheers. Just the issue of it being irreversible on mine without buying another bootlid, if I decide to remove it come resale time etc,

I did say mine was originally Elegance spec - probably a bit more like 'Elegance OEM+' by now.... ;)

Hmm respray mine or buy this......hmm.

I took a similar approach with it, rather than buying a vRS spoiler then getting it sprayed! You end up with a rarer and nicer bit of bootlid decoration as a result :)

Least you know this would never need respraying again :)

$%^@t!!!!! tis a ting of beauty!!

Thats spolier in all its beauty is just looking back at me like some harlot temptress... luring me in with her devilish gaze.

My spoiler is is shiny gleaming and unmarked, it looks nice on my vrs, im getting a columbus unit with maxidot  BT and canbus upgrade this week, is this necessity or luxury, can i delude myself... aaargh can i let it go!!!

I knew i shouldn't have looked at this section tonight.

Im gonna sit back and take a moment on this one.

That is one great looking spoiler, not sure how it would look on a race blue vrs though, good i imagine :@

Fancy a swap for a perfect condition bolero?

Don't think so - there's a few Octys with carbon bits on white cars :)

There's a slight blue tinge to the carbon weave. So has the effect of looking black from a distance.
