Hi guys. I bought a octavia vrs mk1 2 days ago. My dad test drive it and he said it was fine. I've now test drove it and there is a problem with the boost.

Explanation...

Pull away in first. And every gear the turbo kicks in at around 2.5ks. The boost is very strong and you can hear it. Turbo seems fine. Then at around 3.5ks the boost drops dramatically. Instead of waiting till 4.5ks and slowly fading. It just drops.

Please help? Thanks..

You're going to need to get it plugged in to vcds to find out for sure. Could be a number of things.

    Thanks.. Anything I can check till I get it plugged in?

    Failing actuator? Unable to maintain boost pressure? Just an idea..
