FLego Yeti prices + specs from SUK

Featured Replies

Still think i prefer the original front end styling so glad that I bought my Yeti when I did. Not entirely sure why the L&K is only available in the Outdoor when the extras seem much more in line with the "city" version if we are to believe the marketing blurb. If you are planning to go off-road ("The Yeti Outdoor delivers a noticeably more rugged look ... the bumpers incorporate steeper approach and departure angles to facilitate off-road use... the Outdoor can take rough surfaces in its stride") are you really expecting to need park assist and monogrammed front mudguards more than the city driver?

Maybe it's for parking between sheep or sheep dogs to tempt freshacre back to the fold (no pun intended)

Looks like plain Yeti is 2WD only and Yeti Outdoor 2WD and 4WD. So probably the L&K is Outdoor in order to make sure no one confuses it with a mere 2WD :)

I can't see the 1.6 TDi DSG here - presumably that will follow with the 1.4s later...

I wonder if the SE+ version will reappear as the Yeti Business Edition?

I find it really peculiar that the SE+ spec's Amundsen did not become standard on the Elegance.  And also no mention of standard DAB with the Bolero on the Elegance.  So the only way to get DAB is to get an Amundsen or Columbus as an option.  And as anyone with a calculator knows, speccing a Columbus makes ZERO sense on an Elegance as you may as well get the L&K with that (and more) as standard.

Just waiting for my second Yeti Elegance....just seen the prices for the New Yeti.....£27.050 for the L&K......are Skoda taking the P***!

I know that Skoda cars are excellent but really £27.050

At these prices I think that they will loose customers....gone are the days that Skoda is the cheaper VW brand!

Eh?  The before discount cost of my 2010 Yeti Elegance was over £27,000...  so nothing has really changed.  So don't see your point to be honest.

Skoda UK prices are noticeably creeping up and that's putting me off a new car order, which I would normally be considering right now (three years since ordering the current Yeti). This is purely because I don't see many Skoda models as value for money any more, rather than any other reason.

Add to this, in the Yeti's case, the poor redesign of the front and lack of engine/trim choice as in the rest of Europe; can no longer order a 110 4x4 Elegance as I have now for example.

Could consider an Octy 4x4 but that route is even pricer, particularly if you try add xenon's heated screen etc. as I have now.

So I'm thinking of hanging on until the new year; I might even 'drop down' to a Spaceback, go ex demo or try another manufactures offerings again for a 'brand break'.

For the Elegance it states "Full leather upholstery (may contain some artificial leather)". Surely they must know if it does or it doesn't?

This is the case since time began.......  on all German cars.  What you sit on is real leather and the sides and backs are plastic.  Nothing strange about that as most all low rung BMWs, Audis and Mercs are exactly the same.

Or you could buy an audi a4 allroad for the same price of an l+k yeti.........

The 2.0 TDI Allroad starts at £31k list. Adding on just the bits that it's missing compared to the Elegance/L&K Yeti gets you to just shy of £36k.

£36k seems a lot more than £27k to me.

Glad I got my order in before the price rise/FL tbh. The SE specification "Scudo" alloys look quite nice but I bet they're going to be a real pig to try and keep clean, plus I'm not convinced if they fit the rugged/chunky character of the Yeti?

'Pick my motor up next Tuesday and 'am now officially excited!

I'm sat in a new a4 allroad, with nav, etc etc dtd £27500, would you like to see the paper work?

I think the point is that you are comparing the rrp of a new facelift model with the discounted price of a different (run out) model.

I agree, IF I were to stay with Skoda when change time comes I would definitely consider going for a fully loaded Spaceback, a very nice looking car in my 'umble opinion.

Already posted on the FL thread, but just to keep every one up to speed here as well:

Tried to order the new FL Yeti today. Although prices are now official and on the Skoda UK website, unfortunately the factory options are sadly missing!

Local dealer willing to take a deposit (and quoted Jan delivery), but without the official options list, not possible to place an actual order -  just a temporary one, and fill in the gaps when details available.

Shame on you Skoda UK!

Anyway, great to be back in the Yeti fold, albeit not for several months.

Going for an SE Outdoor 140 diesel 4x4 DSG in the Jungle Green (as per the official Skoda UK on line photo).

Sadly the black/silver Matterhorn alloys that look so right with this colour, are not a UK standard fit or even an option.

Never mind!

I paid £13600 for a brand new Yeti 1.2 TSi S in 2010. With a new list price for the F/L of £16600 before adding spare wheel, mats etc, I would be looking at paying maybe £2k more even after a decent discount. Where did this price inflation come from? Ok, ESP is now standard and so that accounts for c. £400 but really.

Skoda Brochure otr price for the Yeti 2,0 CR 140 DSG Elegance  £24.410......you paid £27.000   you have been done!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but please show me where I can find a discounted price for a facelift yeti, we're were talking about £27000 on a facelift yeti verses the cost for an allroad, at this point in time, not 6 months from now.....

you can't even fully order one at this point in time as the production has only just swapped over and options details aren't yet on the system. It won't be six months for discount either, it will be the same as the Superb fl, business as usual with 2-2.5k off the decent trim levels straight away hence why some that have been ordered recently with discount have been told they missed the cut off date and will be getting a new fl once build is scheduled. Alternatively and more comparable - there are stock yeti vehicles available pre fl more comparable with a run out model all road A4 available right now from dealers. In fact when I saw comparable, they aren't really as all you've done is quoted the base allroad price. Try making the spec equivalent and I notice that the A4 gets pretty expensive pretty quickly. Over £1100 for Xenons!? Standard on my Yeti. Want some leather on the seats? Over £1200! Standard on my Yeti. That's my initial take on it anyway. :)

You what yeti man, don't believe a word I say, I know what's sat on my drive for the price of £27500 approx, oh, and a yeti, I know which is the better car...... I'll leave it at that, I can see why some people leave this forum......

so its not on the road price we are talking about.....its the options you feel you need ,that has boosted the price over the £27,000

so you are looking at £30.000 with options if you want the New Yeti......for a Skoda its expensive...remember its a small SUV

lol its the weekend, chill out a little ;) if you are saying that leather and Xenons are now standard on the price comparable Allroad A4 ie the SE then I'm very surprised as when I test drove it at the end of July, they were two options of six I wanted that added over 7k to the basic spec? Leather was only standard from SE teknic spec upwards iirc but you have one on your drive so you would know. ;) From the experience of someone that's participated in forums for many many years, you really shouldn't get so uptight at replies to threads. It's a community that offers differing opinion. It's what makes it interesting. And I never questioned or made comment to 'which car was best' but as you've now brought that up, yes, I'm happy to say I know the answer to that also. :)

So back on topic, I'm looking onward to seeing an fl in the metal. My preference is t the outdoors version with the sort of thing mine gets used for and I have to say, when I first read that the superb L&K got brown leather I was horrified... But having seen one it actually looked really smart IMO. :)
