Day 2 220 miles plus a ferry to Islay

Never seen this color before till now. Looks wonderful! And the monster is photogenic as usual in all its appearances :-) Lovely photos there. 

Lovely pics, giving the monster a good run out. a good area for distillery tours is Perthshire, I've done several there, the best being Dewers in Aberfeldy. Also there are two in Pitlochry, Bells on the main road & The Edradour buried away in the hills a couple of miles above the town. It's the smallest in Scotland but well worth a visit.

Keep us posted on your trip & keep safe, watch out for the single track roads further north, as Marie will tell you they are great fun to drive on. A test of your driving skills.

Not keen on those smok ey Islay malts, more a smooth malt man myself. Glenmorangie goes down a treat!

Come and try the Glen Turret distillery (supplies Famous Grouse) here just outside Crieff. Nicely hidden with beautiful walks and drives nearby.

Did it twice before  Grouse took it over, still have a bottle of Glenturret 12 year old to open. Very disapointed when Grouse bought it out, not as good.
