Hi all well had the Octavia fault read as the exhaust control light was on and it came back with something me nor the garage have ever herd of.

FUEL TANK VENTING SYSTEM INTERMITENT FAULT.

Any ideas? Thanks

What is the active charcoal filter valve for and what does it do had a look but cant find many threads on this?

the canister of charcoal absorbs the petrol fumes from the top of the tank --then under certain running conditions the valve opens and allows the engine to remove and burn them
