Selling the garage my mx5, (cries into lap). They've given me very fair price.

I'll now be driving the Octavia to work and Wifey is having the Citigo.

Delivery won't be until mid January or even February 2014.

 

I ended up talking my wife up into a sport as once we'd added some options to the SE it seemed daft not to.

So its a 5dr Sport with a spare wheel.

 

Only quandary in colour /  stripes. Wifey doesn't like the stripes and wants white (come on they should be black not red). I think the red looks best, but it'll be her car. I think we should just ditch the roof/bonnet stripe as a good compromise (someone else on here has done this). But wife wants them all off... I'm not so sure about that. I've seen a photo on here of a de-stickered red sport and that looks good.

 

Maybe I should save up for the 16" serpens in white to lift the look - it'd look different then. (anyone ordered these?)

Plain red sport with white serpens would look good IMO

Yes, quite 'rally'.

 

Maybe plain white with green Serpens would give it the Skoda Rally look - but as Wifey is conservative on the stripes maybe not!

White with green alloys and the Skoda Motorsport decals...

Get the 16's and I'll buy them off you for the factory price! Plus throw in my standard 14 alloys

Just take the roof and bonnet stripe off. It would lose its Sport look if all were off :(

Well wifey had a drive in a red sport yesterday. There was a white SE in the showroom too.

 

She has made up her mind... it'll be white... with no stripes. Oh well.

 

Sorry Masserator she likes the black alloys, so no Serpens on the horizon.

 

Still feel I'll need to lift the look a little, I've never had a white car;

Silver (Sierra sapphire with big miles )

Red (Audi A3 1.8turbo... I never 'loved' this one)

Hi Guys.

We planning to get 5dr CitiGo Sport for my Wifey and my question is...can you actually order one without the stripes..? Do you have to pay anything extra to get one without stripes. She likes white but not with the stripes. If we can get one without the stipe sew will order the red one.

I'll post serving here once our Skoda Family expands. We currently have Fabia MK2 and She drives Polo 1.2 5dr but she absulutely hates that car hence why we planing to get her CitiGo beginning of next (place the order this year)

Doubt you can order it with no stripes but just ask the dealer to remove them when it arrives as they are only stickers!

I had just the centre strip removed from mine and left the rest :-) which personally I think is a good compromise!
