Have you tried one with the electric seat TP?

I find it much better.

Yes that thought had crossed my mind but not found a Yeti with the option fitted to test at a dealers.

Both our Fabia's I'm fine with, it's just the Yeti with or without lumber it makes no difference.

  • Having read all of this thread, I have to say it has the making of a great film script - it has it all: a "will he, won't he" lead character with a cheeky avitar and a cool (?) nickname, romance (owne

  • It's a tough call, Tim. I have somewhat similar considerations, as Snowwhite is now 4 years old and the 4 year itch for new wheels shows up.   Comparing the old Octy, the Yeti is much quieter - sign

  • My sentiments exactly. The Octy will soon be everywhere and mostly outside train stations with checkerplate stripes down the side and a Hackney Carriage badge on the tail. No thanks. Great looking car

I found the Yeti seats very comfortable, but I did have the electric seat.

As a car I did not find it comfortable unless the road was perfect (very rare).

My wife really likes the sports seats in our 'new' steed and can even read in them, which she could not do in the Yeti. They are like armchairs! They really hold you, whereas the yeti ones don't.

I still use a CG-Lock though. One of the best bits of kit I have bought. Holds me in place nice and cosy.

The electric seat is so good when we changed my Wife's SE for an Elegance it had the electric seat, as did mine bought at the same time.

I would encourage you to find someone with a Yeti equipped with one and try it out TP.

So are you hanging on for the mk2 Yeti then? :)

Yup.  Nothing wrong with my Yeti and it has only 26,000 miles on the clock.  So he's still brand new in effect.   :giggle:

TP: I agree you need to try the electric seat.  Far more adjustment, especially in how the seat base front and rear can be moved independently and the lumbar can be moved in four directions as well.

I'm on 27k.  That's two of us then with the same plan. :)

Figured on keeping it, what with it being one careful owner from new.

3, actually  - just rolled over to 20k @ 33 months.

Still very happy with it!

4 of us, 10k at 25 months :)

Homeland; hope I'm not under suspicion of being the bad guy in this drama :giggle:

All will be revealed in a few days; well I hope so but you never know the plot might thicken, or yet have a twist or two to play out :wonder:

I hope all WILL be revealed! :)
