Amunsden SatNav - Auto Zoom

Featured Replies

Hi,

Asking on behalf of my Dad,

He has a Elegance Hatch with the Amundsen SatNav as standard.

Hes having trouble getting it to auto zoom when he approaches junctions/slows down etc  hes tried having a route planned on the unit and guidance to see if it works then but still nothing!

The box is ticked in he options but the function does not work.

Any advice?

Thanks

You'll only notice it if you manually zoom out then approach a junction. It's quite subtle

Ok, i know on my Amunsden sat nav, although the older version with only 1 SD slot, i don't have to do anything regards to zooming it does it itself!  ill get him to have a go later. thanks

It'll also only do it with a planned route

It does zoom in and out a bit without a route programmed.  But nowhere near what a TomTom or Garmin would do.

Pretty poor for a system launched in 2013.

If you zoom in or out manually you have to reset the auto zoom function by pressing the zoom distance icon and then pressing it once more to set it to auto and then there will be a little @ symbol in the icon so you know it is set, clear as mud!?
