Vrs estate engine problem

Featured Replies

Im hoppinmg someone can help here. have an 03 vrs estate, just been out and the airbag, asr and abs lights have come on, pulled over and the engine has settled to a tick over of 1500, but no throttle responce, sat for about 5 mins lights go out and all returns to normal, can anyone shed any light on this.cheers

Disconnect the MAF sensor located just after the air box as a guess. Ideally u need the fault codes read in the system just to get a pointer in the right direction.

The asr, abs and airbags light came on my vrs and I had no throttle response. In my case it was the alternator not producing enough juice.

Try cleaning the earth points under the battery. You might need the codes clearing too.
