Good time to get a bigger intercooler....a Scim would have been unmarked!!

The Scim would still have been driveable..no power steering, no chocolate wishbones...and the lights are better on my '74 5a!

 

No chance of an intercooler - company car.  Now waiting for details of some sort of temporary transport (company's insurance doesn't extend to hire cars outside of the UK..) and how long it will be before the car gets repatriated back to the UK for repairs.  Add in how long it will take to repair, and it could be a while :(

Nasty, but it could have been worse, it could have ended up inside the car with you.

And it might have been very, very mad, not just wild.

I think it was probably a bit mad after the event...as was I.  Nothing a scotch and coke didn't fix though 

...and it might be a write-off, so I've just heard  :wonder:

 

If anyone wants a CAVE that uses no oil, there might be one floating round the auctions...might be in Germany though!
