Hi Rob

Do you know if it fits a 2008 golf does it have a cd changer bypass plug to retain it.

Hi, it was removed from a 2006 r32, it worked on my stream also.

no bypass to retain cd changer.

How does this work exactly?

I know it replaces the changer but how is it controlled from the headunit?

Many Thanks

Hi,

It still comes up as 6 cd's but the first five cd's become your first five playlists and the 6th cd becomes (ALL) songs on the ipod and can be skipped.

it will not put up track names but will skip tracks.

i tried it on my stream and it worked.

your welcome to give it a go if your local, the mkIV forum may be able shed more light if required.

im open to offers on it also as its sat in a drawer at the moment.
