Bye Bye.

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I'm a fairly new member. Bought a mk1 05 plate Octavia VRS off a forum member on here a couple of months ago, did a few things to the car. However, I recently got offered a Honda accord Type R for half the price of what I sold the VRS for, and after having previously owned one, I decided to sell the VRS. Just want to say,

Thanks for the time on the forum, and for any help/info.

You'll be back :) see you soon, stay safe.

See you around :)

Cherrio.

Thanks guys.

I almost got a ATR,great cars, just make sure the gearbox is ok..big problems if it ain't.

Its my second ATR in 5 years. Yip, that's right, the pre-facelift models can suffer from synchro problems with 5th and reverse. Thanks for the advice.

I've always wanted to own an Accord Type R.  Have you got any pics of it?

Not to hand, and not entirely sure how to upload them to the forum via a mobile.

Good luck with it....and the soft paint

No worries then.  If you do figure it out, post some up as even though I know what they look like I'm always interested to see examples that people have.

Does it have any mods?  I was looking for one a while back, but found there were very few left that weren't modded in some way or other.  Plus there were some really poor examples that were on their last legs and needed to be put out of their misery.  If it's a good 'un then you've done well.

Hang around mate - I am now 3 cars away from my last Skoda but have yet to find a better or more friendly forum.

Me too.

Thanks guys- forums great. I attend to keep a look in.

Re the accord. The person I got it from had the car 5 years, purely as a weekend car and only covered 13k miles in that time.

It does have some 'subtle' modifications. Eibach lowering springs, K & N Typhoon kit and some wind deflectors. I'm thinking of replacing the standard exhaust, purely because it has a wee blow or two in it, but we'll see.
