What do you think your labour time would be, then I'll double it for me and my mate doing the job. ;)

edited to say I think I'll treble it just to be sure. :o Ironically I've done the removal side of things myself, but that was during a general "removal"... not a repair removal & refit....

I'd love to help, looks like the token ring network we have in work!!!!

Might **** it up though but hey worth a bash!!!!!!!!!!

 Case of too many techies spoiling the loom? :D:rofl:

I wouldn't mind an experienced hand though. In all seriousness, I think with an early start and eveything else more or less set up the car can be running with one day's expertise spent on it.

Fooookin 'ell mate. That's a complete nightmare. Best of British.....

Didn't know you were changing that one as well Jason. When does the new VRS one arrive from Hills?

End of the coming week.

I've given them several days to carefully remove it as I've STRESSED really harshly that every plug must be 100% intact, etc.... Once bitten, twice shy - as they say. :D

Actually, as I have a detailed map of where every plug on the loom goes to - and also the fact that some lessons will be learned remoing the PD100 loom....

All this loom buying was as a result of me realising this - If the PD130 has a sump sensor and the PD100 doesn't... How the HELL is the signal from the sump sensor going to get through the PD100 engine compartment loom to the dashpod / etc if it was never designed to take this signal in the first place.

:finger: to cutting & joining six wires together.

It may be another anomolie (sp) Jason, you may find that the wire from the Engine Bay to the Dash Pod is missing, a little like they don't put the Cruise Control wire in unless the car is ordered with it.

Mark

"Hills Motors" Yes. Why? Are you doing the removal for me. Take your time if you are. Rather wait longer for a n intact loom than rush you and get something like I got from the "other" salvage place. :)

Sorry Jason I am not Mark from Hills. Just curious as i have used them a number of times in the past and i should be in there this week.

Sorry for any confusion matey.

Mark

Hills salavage. I only work about 10mins from there. Is that where your donor car was Jason?
