hi ,i have a 2001 reg octavia vrs and the engine management light has just came on and staying on !,on my way to work on fri and for a few seconds i had no power as if it was going to stop running ??,but then power came back as normal !,it has done this once more since then ,can anyone tell me whats the problem plz ?

will need to be plugged in mate, engine management light will come on for many reasons.  Anybody near you with VCDS?
