Featured Replies

Evening all.. Ok where to start.. I'm a mechanic with 15/20 yrs ford and vw experience but all with the early early stuff like vw campers and mk2 carbed escorts and the like... I've owned subarus and turbo escorts and a whole host of fast and slow vee dubs.... I've been following a few build threads such as lloyds and rob from nz and they are some of the most enjoyable inspiring threads making me want to start whacking my octy with the modding stick but I'm confused...... Fmic I get (front mount inter cooler :) ) maf ....yep know that as most cars have em but some of the others abbreviations have me stumped.... Tip???? Iac ?????

Feel free to tear me up for this lack of knowledge and being a tech I'm

Embarrassed but can someone pls if they have a mo tell me what a few of these mean as it would be so helpful in my quest to make swmbo (worked that out and it's epic !!) that these parts need replacing ;) for purely reliability ;)...
