  • Look forward to pics guys, Ive Eibach springs but they don't lower as much as the HR so will be interesting to see difference.   This pic is from Eibach, with lowering springs fitted.

Isn't the 5E the mk2 octavia? Thought the mk3 was the A7 variety?

I contacted the seller who in turn called Eibach directly and asked if the springs were suitable for 2013 mk3 octavia vrs estse and I was directed to the discribed springs.

I looked on wikipedia alos and it lists,

mk1-1U 96-11

mk2-1Z 04-13

mk3-5E 13-

Do you think this info is incorrect?

I think that is far too low. The front looks daft, look at the arch, it give the impression that the arch is too big for the wheel. The gap at the bottom of the arches should be roughly the same as the top, otherwise it give the impression that the suspension has collapsed. I realise this is only a photoshop, but it really begs the question. Why do people do this???

Appreciate it is a photoshop and not the real thing

Any info on the H & R springs?

What does it ride like?

Quick research and found the H&R springs with a photo of the vRS

Im on 19" and its so smooth to drive with H&R springs, My Wife said yesterday that she thinks the car is much smoother to drive with loweringsprings, than with OEM. springs

That is what I like to hear. Do you have spacers on yours? It looks as though the wheels sit too far in the arch and will be more noticeable I think once lowered slightly
