Reset Key?

Featured Replies

I'm currently suffering from double vision from searching the Yeti handbook for this problem. I'm sure it's there somewhere but I can't find it! :wall:

Can some kind person put me out of my misery and tell me how to reset the keys?

I changed the locking sequence via the Multidot so that my key only needed one press to open  all the doors. Today I had to use my wife's key and discovered that it would only open the drivers door accompanied by a "chirp" from somewhere under the bonnet.

I assume that her key needs resetting to be the same as mine?

I don't have access to a teenager so have to rely on my inadequate technical skills for things like this and they stopped being  updated many years ago. :@

You will need to repeat the changes for the other key.

Certain settings only change to the key in use - such as locking.

From the manual:

This function can be activated/deactivated by a specialist garage.
*On vehicles with an information display, this function can be switched on in the
menu Settings Convenience - Door open.

I think they should have put the word "however" where I have inserted the asterisk*.
I know I have changed it for my key; hope you can do so for yours.
