and what is the price for this item? here in Portugal they asked me 300€ in VW car parts (genuine). this part is also genuine but used in great condition.

hope to hear from you.

cheers

Can't see how it would fit. Sorry.

The base plate looks too long behind the armrest for it to come up through where the rear ash tray is on a normal centre console.

Look out for a used Jumbo Box from an Octavia or Yeti. I've got a Yeti one in my Octavia.

I am not sure is the Passat Base is the same as the Octavia/Jetta base. The Aluminum base comes in two parts. You need to remove your factory center console in order to fit this aluminum base.

I have one in my 2002 Octavia L&K and its the same.  My car is automatic transmision but I have read in other forum where people that drive with manual trasmision the arm rest bothers.

Here is a video where they talk about a Jetta Arm Rest Delet Kit but it will give you an idea how to intall the arm rest on your Octavia. Check the base to see if the one you have is the same. If is the same, it will fit BUT I am not sure because the Passat base is complety diferent to the Jetta MK4 one. I know the one in the Jetta MK 4 fit the Octavia.

Pretty sure if you make a search for Skoda Octavia or Jetta MK 4 Arm Rest you going to find a lot of info that will help you decide.
